Thunderbird Club

Lull stuff from my FB

Not really having anything to do with Thunderbirds but what I did on Christmas was draw this page for my ongoing TMNT fan comic, which accurately described a boxing day occurrence.

The Puking after having eaten too much and the throwing away of the presents you never wanted in the first place...

I've been meaning to buy myself a real guitar for years, never got around to it. The passing of Leslie West and Luther Grosvenor's birthday seem to have been enough impetus for me to purchase this Les Paul Jr. The Lp Jr. is my favorite guitar I love it's raw raunchy tone. Not a Thunderbird but it is a Gibson.

Yeah, I hear you, I have been playing el-cheapo guitars for years and this year I wanted something fancy and so I made a KILLER deal on THIS.

Which is an Epiphone EJ-300, which has all solid wood construction, they don't make these anymore, it's by far the best sounding acoustic I ever played.

Johnny Thunders!

Who needs a pickguard?
Good question. Certainly won't affect playability. I need to raise the pickups. Maybe change out the pots since they're now backwards. Also weird that the order of tuners is reversed. I instinctively started turning the G when I meant to turn the E.

The bass weighs 8 lbs. exactly.

I'm down to 7 after 5 or 6 were stolen and I bought one to almost replace one of the stolen ones... Lost 2 fenders a Warwick an old peavey and a tricked out OLP. And had a stieney spirit and a Gibson SG bass stolen about 7 years ago as well.

Really screwed up my OCD system of different types and a backup for amlpst every type etc... Not to mention the sentimental hit.

Yeah if I could go genocidal on tweaker scum I would
Yeah I’ve been mostly lucky, but I always have a backup bass. And I always carry an MB200.
