Thunderbird Club

Is that target part of your stage backdrop, or just for the practice space?
I think it's there to send me a message ;) probably there for target practice, it's definitely not part of our backdrop.

I installed the hipshot bridge on my new epi cp last night. A really great piece of hardware but, I find it to feel different under my pick hand. (I rest my hand on the bridge). So, I’m sticking with old one but, keeping the hipshot tuners. If anyone is looking for a hipshot 3 point bridge, pm me.
I’m still trying to figure out what strings came on it, ghs boomers I think.
Any chance you still have that bridge? PM me......Im in need.

There’s nothing better for a Who Tribute.

A little something from my past. Recorded live at the Marco Polo Hotel, Miami Beach, FL, in 1982. We did a medley of "I Just Wanna Be Your Everything"/"Get Back". The file starts with the last chorus of "....Everything". It was dubbed from a cassette in order to show our version of "Get Back". 67 NR 'Bird>mid 70's blue line SVT/810 rig. Kinda long at 4+minutes-playing for dancers.

Trying something new this week, setting up for work in what I pompously call a studio... the only distraction I'm allowing myself is peeking this thread once in a while.

I'm guessing we're quite a few doing it that way....

Nice! And Exactly. iPad on the desk to keep up with you all during work. Looks like a cool room. My wife is set up for work in the room with what I pompously call Thunder Corner. I’m in the home office with limited space. I check out for the day around 3:30 and head up to the practice space I have in the bedroom for a couple hours.

Home studio gonna home studio. We can't all afford, nor do we all need, a huge, properly treated room.

Thunder Heads, Thunder Corner...
We so cool.

Indeed. That could be the rabbit hole in which other rabbit holes disappear.

I agree. You just worded it more politely than reality would dictate it seems.

Although my suspicions of Paul Simon match your assessment, I also suspect that the same description applies to Art Garfunkel. It usually requires two to have such a fractious relationship.

I'm sure it takes two to tangle, but after reading some of the stuff about Simon on the net I'm inclined to agree with you. Smug is being generous. A perpetual horses hind end with a Napoleonic complex might be more accurate.

Believe me, the way I worded my "Simon Assessment" is purely to follow forum guidelines. My normal description of him would be much more colorful and just as accurate. As for Garfunkel, I have no doubt he is cut from the same cloth as Simon. I have seen far more of Simon over my life so he draws more of my venom. They did create some great music that even a trash rocker like me can appreciate. Love the songs, hate the artists.
