Thunderbird Club

I recorded four tracks for Jason Lane Band around Xmas. He sent me scratch tracks with Paul Mackisoc’s freshly recorded drum tracks. Paul’s one of those guys I don’t have to think about when we play. (We play reggae/funk/dub/pop in a different band)

And then Jason asked if I would do a video shoot last month, so I brought my Tbird down to a nice studio in one of the sketchiest places in Vancouver:

Really nice, Irv!

It deserves more than 1 like!

It's Green things day isn't it?

Is this a modified Orville or '76?

It's a modified Orville, I really need to find an original TRC for it. The bridge is from Tone Pros, currently has EY Guitars
"China Buckers" in it, they're ok, not great.

I got my Goth and fell in love. Then a week or so later the blackbird landed on eBay! I have to admit it wasn’t listed quite right. It didn’t say Epiphone anywhere in the listing. Or blackbird so I don’t think it got noticed. It also didn’t say thunderbird.
Basically I got it at a ridiculously low price in my opinion. Just over £200!! it’s fantastic! So I went from no tbirds to 2 within a couple of weeks. Couldn’t be happier.
what do people think of the price I paid
Be good to get some reassurance I got a good deal.

My last gig (a week or so ago) I was the only one wearing a mask. Audience were eating and drinking, nobody on stage — band members (apart from myself) and guests — were masked up.

GOOD ON YAH!

Brother's a nurse, this C19 poop is still real despite vaccines going out, yet people are letting their guards down.

So, East Hastings has a studio hidden somewhere? Who knew!?!

Great vid!
