The only ones I’ve removed unfortunately were loose enough to pull out by hand with the bolt inserted. I’ve used Titebond to glue them back in with success. Just be patient and let them cure; I give them a week. And heed George’s advice about the ground wire.
Don’t fear, we’ll talk you into getting more Thunderbirds.I've pretty much got everything I need (a bit more, actually...) as far as Thunderbirds go.
....except for a II. I can't afford a real 60s Thunderbird II, so maybe a Greco version, at some point.
Oh, and maybe a Suzi Quatro Thunderbird also (almost had one last year), once I've cleared out some of these non-Thunderbird basses I don't really play.
Also, maybe someday, if I have lots of extralaying around I don't need... maybe an NS-2X....
So yeah, mostly got everything covered.....

We had several, but I liked and kept the Bosch with me. I was more on the finish end of things, but we all had to branch out. I loved my Makita cordless drill. That was when "cordless" was new. Still have my Makita circular saw.

Roughly the same time I graduated from high school in San Jose. Care free and wild summer that year. Did a number of stupid things that summer - I have no clue how I survived. If I'd had the Greco back then I probably would have done something stupid with it as well.

Those years were among the best for me. College, concerts, first real job, carefree times before law school and real responsibility.
