Thunderbird Club

Seen a few boards but haven't read the post, crazy work day and headin' out to the kids' place to repair my daughter's bike. I'm assuming we're posting current boards, so here's my gig board, for when we, ya know.... gig.

Happy TT.

Reminds me of the local road service mob, the NRMA. (maybe the insurance offshoot of the same name).
They had an ad on tv saying what good folk they are and how they help in hard times. It was set to the Hunters & Collectors song Throw my arms around you. A picture of a poor koala being rescued coincided with the lyric “and I will squeeze the life from you”...:banghead:

Out of curiosity Mike, what are you using the Zoom for?

The B3N is used for always-on stuff like compression, OD and exciter-style effect, as well as seldom-used things like reverb and octave. I don't need the Clone and BSW pedals on the current set-list, I just put them there 'cause I like'em. I could use the B3N's Cry wah patch instead of the BSW but I had extra space.

The MS60B is used for EQ if I need to cut something a bit. Actually, I think I have space left on the B3N, so I'll remove it. The GEB-7 is used for clean boost.

I can’t remember why I went with ash. Probably because it was available:laugh:.
I’m waiting for the border to open and it will get a 2
piece bridge and maybe a Thunderbucker.

I like pretty much all the major tone-woods. I've built ash bodies for clients, but I only own one bass with an ash body (originally an '06 '51 RI P-bass... heavily modified) - and love what it offers!
