Thunderbird Club

I'm soliciting unbiased opinions from the Thunderbird Club for my 2017 bass project. Should I get...

1. Another 'Bird

2. Italia Maranello solid body in red or blue *sparkle* (to satiate my Manic Street Preachers/Nicky Wire obsession)
ITALIA GUITARS

3. Eastwood EEB-1 (to go with my Canadian amp and Canadian compressor) - if I want to get close to a P sound
EEB-1 Black

4. Epi SG bass (looks pretty, nice necks that I've tried, not a fan of the stock electronics)
This is the Thunderbird club. Lol...

Shouldn't you put the EEB with an Ampeg rig? :)

Seriously, you can't lose with any if them they are all lovely, depends on what you want out of them I guess.

I'd look for a single pickup Tbird.

My Epi Blackbird's new pots weren't delivered by the local errant post office. The guy doing the work has an arm injury here's recovering from and a mother in-law who's getting ready to unwind from her mortal coil, so I've just let it go until he has his scene together. So no Bird tomorrow, sadly... gonna have to bring my EB-3 and Hamer Mutant to tomorrow night's festivities.

Maybe we'll do Love Hurts...

Sadly as of this morning I'm no longer a T-Bird owner :crying: But's gone to a good home :D

Cares not a jot about weight nor neck dive but what's that to an old Scottish miner like him:)

He's asking about a hardcase for it. Any recommendations folks ? Mind we're in Scotland so GC/SA/MF
or Sweetwater items will be useless. Sizes would be better.

The SG/EB3 is an outsider. I worry that the EEB-1 is too much of a hipster bass - and do I really need a P sound like every other bugger? That leaves the sparkle finish solid body Maranello or the NR ... please Epiphone, hear my call and release a neck-through NR with soapbar humbuckers.
You could always go this route...

I think they're an Aussie company, they have a custom shop and might be able to do a NR for you.
