I know. It funded something else. I'm not even sure what that was now. Likely something more vintage I was seeking at the time.Shoulda never sold it. That’s beautiful.

Beautiful lush green countryside.Probably Dublin.
The allergy part was the reason I left, figured it would only get worse as I got older and I was already nearly debilitated half the year. Haven't had any real allergy issues here in SoCal yet.You know, I kind of like it here. Being here, makes it easy to get to other places I like. Don't like Winter, so further South might be nice. But change of seasons is really nice. Not the allergy part. This part of KY is one of the worst places for that.
Pretty beaches, I love how far you can wade out and how warm the water is compared to west coast beaches.I have to admit that if I'm going to look over a beach, I love the sugar white beaches of West FL and AL. I love AL because it more laid back and not make-a-fool-of-yourself-central like some places. More family and common sense friendly.

Awready retired and I like this area(Stuart, FL), but probably Mt. Dora, FL-a little north of the Mouse's house.Which begs the question - if you (or any club member here) could retire to any place in the US and gig with your bird for the rest of your playing days where would it be? What if you and your bird could gig into your old age anywhere in the world, where would that be?
No need to explain why (keep politics out of it) just list where you'd love to play your bird until your dying days.
Pretty soon Nevada will be able to say that.Pacific North west (NorCal to Alaska) - the most beautiful ocean coast on the planet IMHO.
Dang! I got that much with my 87 F/L C350. Loaded.Since we're keeping it to the US......I like Sacramento
Probably here 'til the end, barring unforseen circumstances.
My old '69 Coronet got 7-8 or so, but by the time I had fiddled with it for several years, it wasn't stock any more. Hot-rod 440s aren't exactly fuel efficient, especially in a car shaped like a brick![]()

That is a part of living in Ohio I don't miss. Allergy season is pretty bad at times here, too, but there is more to make up for it.You know, I kind of like it here. One of the few bad things(aside from hurricanes, gators, mosquitos, humidity, tourists, etc.)is that allergy season is 1/1-12/31.That is a part of living in Ohio I don't miss. Allergy season is pretty bad at times here, too, but there is more to make up for it.

Yeah, we called our Chevette a Vette just to mess with people!
I drove a Chevette once...We used to call 'em Shovettes - coz you know, they needed a little extra shove to get going..![]()

A bass I do miss. The first G&L I ever bought. Early 2000s. Punchy but very sweet sounding. I think it might be the best sounding G&L I've owned.
