Thunderbird Club

Thinking of taking the '63 Burns of London Vista Sonic to Bond Girl rehearsal tonight. Q would approve.

No Thunderbird, but there's a reverse Firebird. And of course, the incredible Wilson sisters. They've still got it! The FF nailed it, too.
...and a sweet 335, and a cool SG, and a rockin Flying V - all Gibby stage (except for the poor bass player that didn't get the memo and brought his P bass).

Not that we talk about this too much here, but I always bring at least two basses to a show, why? Nobody wants to watch you change a string on a bass guitar (or any instrument for that matter), watch a pro do it with grace and hear some fantastic guitar playing as well.

He breaks a string around 2:54

He breaks it about 20 seconds earlier than that, but he's in the middle of that hot lead break, so he just. Keeps. Going. My man, Stevie.

Only reason i'm stalling here, well 2.

Family, and no real dough to make such a big move.
But def not to SC.
Which begs the question - if you (or any club member here) could retire to any place in the US and gig with your bird for the rest of your playing days where would it be? What if you and your bird could gig into your old age anywhere in the world, where would that be?

No need to explain why (keep politics out of it) just list where you'd love to play your bird until your dying days.

Yeah, we called our Chevette a Vette just to mess with people!

LOL - I guess it really was an EconoVette.
I got about 10mpg in my 71 big block on a good day. IIRC my friend with an "EconoVette" got about 30mpg. Of course he spent about as much fixing and repairing his car as I did in gas on mine. :D
