I recall hearing that before come to think of it. How would they compare to a typically bright string like Rotos? Any thoughts there?

I tried the Marcus Miller Super Brights and found them way too bright. Much more so than Rotosounds. My perfect happy medium were the SITs.

Well, if that's the case, my Squier VM Jag SS dove-like a Gibson. Yeah. Right.
There may be a touch of sarcasm in that statement.

Whatcha need's a set of 50-105 EBCF's.

I was playing the pixie dust bass this evening with the cover band and it sounded a little harsh and light brown. The amp is an ACC 126 combo which isn't the best sounding amp, but maybe it is time for new strings. It has Black Beauties on it. I think there is a set of fresh Cobalt Flat in the string drawer ready for use. It can't be the bass or my ears can it?

The MMs are stiffer than the regular Super Brights.

Dunlops right? I found them to be snappy and well-defined, balanced. I've got them on my CP and they're really good.
Rotors are gnastier, raspier, more aggressive in the top end, but the Dunlop Stainless Super Brights are a bit smoother, punchier. I like them better than Rotos

Fresh out of the pack they're bright. But very well rounded to my ears. We'll see how they mellow.

Need some advice... I cannot find a 5 strings that I really like, but I sometimes needs low D or low C for some songs. I'm wandering should I tune my Epi T-Bird Pro EABD, put a Hipshpot Extender, or simply keep on searching?

I've done this on any number of times on various basses, it works just fine. You will most likely have to file your nut and possibly enlarge the hole on your bridge for the B string. A .120-.125 should be good for your B string.

I like the extender, because I can still do my normal range, and I do venture up for quick trips to the wank frets (nod to @fasterpussycat , lol) for the different texture of the near-whistling upper register. I like the changes in envelope you get going high to low, especially...
You learn a few songs with the extender and you get a good hang of it.

I have a set as well, to put on the BC Rich. It's a lot darker than the Thunderbirds. I have Ken Smith Rock Masters on it right now, and with the frequency I play it, I might not change strings for quite a while. Very interested to hear your impressions of them on a darker bass.
