LOL - I wasn't born yesterday, I'm not stupid enough to eat a Tide POD.

That said, just the other day I was washing some dishes by hand and loading other dishes into the dishwasher. I grabbed a Cascade POD from the container (while my hands were still wet) and put it in the dishwasher. My eye itched, so I rubbed it and quickly found out that Cascade PODs apparently don't Need to be exposed to water for more than a second or two before enough of the liquid seeps through the membrane to cause great discomfort - yes, it burned like a son of a gun.

I thought you'd be safe on not getting caught up on youtub or flitter and sucking one of those babies down. I can't believe it was a thing for teens to do. We're either doomed when they are in charge or they are so stupid we'll out live them. This coming from somebody who has some expertise in stupid.

It does say not to touch those if your fingers are wet. But of course you know that now! Joking aside, glad you are OK.

Thanks! I will be using a Schaller Lock button.

If you've got a #5 thread starter/maker, it will make it easier to screw in the button. Especially with having the finish, it'll help reduce chipping/cracking around the hole, ime

I am sure this has been discussed 10000000 times, but how thick are the "pads" that go under the feet of Gibson bridge covers? I bought one for my 77 but need the pads for clearance.

Yes I have a Line 6 G30. There's a receiver on my pedalboard and the transmitter takes AA batteries. It's been pretty reliable. The only problem I've had is my batteries got weak from sitting for months unused, so I just replaced them and got a better charger.
You want ones with 2500maH or better.

For gigs where we were doing sound from the stage, I would wander out to check the mix at least a few times.

Its not about the finish. The finish has plenty of "character". I need spacers so the cover clears the bridge/strings.

OK Here it goes. Strap Button placement. I'm considering relocating the Strap button on the bottom of the bass to the back side. I had seen a Photo of the Placement here not long ago to the upper back a few inches in and down from the top. I can't get away from the Dreaded Dive and am hoping someone has a good idea. My Strap is 4" wide and Suede backing.
