Looks like another Thunderbird Thursday. A shot of the whole family (minus the FrankenGoth and Spector Bird, ran out of stands, guess I'm at my Thunderbird limit - not)…

My 67 NR was nearly pristine when I bought in March(?)'73. By the end of '73 it/I was playing 4 to 6 nights a week for the next~15 years. All the dings, scratches, H.S. repairs, etc. came about during my ownership. Surprisingly, there's no buckle rash on the back-I always kept that protected(untucked shirt or buckle offset to left). Lotsa little dings on the lower edge where it bumped against my stand mounted baritone sax.

As it should be. Honest wear from an honest player.

I don't mind dings and missing paint. I'm not fond of spray paint and stickers. Just me. Nothing you can do if they were on there from a previous misguided owner.

I know. This is why I like the burst finishes. Painted finishes almost need a little window so you can see all the layers and grain goodness going on.
