Thunderbird Club

I don't remember now, and using the search function is forbidden around here. What case fits a VP? The Epi case appears to fit fairly well if you don't mind the headstock being a big jammed. Maybe that's what I'll end up getting for it. Are there other reasonable choices? It rains enough here and it will ride in the back of a van enough that I want a hard case, not a gig bag.

Mine fits a Gibson case, tight.

I love mine. Use it to carry all my Thunderbirds in fact, even the '64. It's not an Anvil Road case, but I'm not currently on a world tour so that's not really needed. I like the tapered case as it sheds a little weight.

I found one for a fuzz over $100 from a small music shop selling online.

That's the one I use for mine

Iirc, the VP doesn't fit in the older, square, Epiphone cases?

Did someone say Anvil!?

I had the chance to open for them once, in a small bar. they brought so much equipment on stage that I had to play directly in the crowd, there were no place for me on the stage. Lips also complained that he could not hear himself through the monitors (which were cranked on the verged of feedback) but would not turn his guitar down a bit. Two Marshall full stack, both running at full power, for a venue that held 250 person max... it was a bit of a SPINAL tap moment!
