Thunderbird Club

you bet! if it wasn’t for you (and GB) I would have missed out on the joy of owning one…..thank you!
seems like the rest of the club is catching on….
That they are, and the prices are starting to get higher.

We need to spread the word that these darn Greco basses are even worse than Gibby and Eppi birds. Maybe spread the rumor that the hard tail was added to the Greco as a headstock capture device - so that when the head breaks off, the strings stay attached to the body keeping the headstock from flying into the face of your guitarist.

Very quiet on the bass front for me these days, so this is big news: after a 4+ month wait starting from the original order, the XTender finally came in today.

Yay :hyper:

Say it not nicely then. You are among friends.

My recent larger individual story happened at a show my son played before the shutdown. They needed a merch-girl, and my son volunteered me. It was actually kinda fun anyway and I didn't mind. About halfway through, a rotund young woman wearing a tube top and tight shorts started dancing around in front of the merch table. I wasn't paying all that much attention until she came right in front of the table and was dancing while looking right at me. Once she got my attention, she pulled down her tube top and put on a show. I completely cracked up. There were others who would have been more aesthetic, but her enthusiasm made up for a lot. She was laughing pretty hard, too. Beats me what that was all about. I figured if you were going to flash anybody, it would be the band. Shows what I know.
Maybe she thought you were lonely..... ;)

Maybe it was just freeing....

Big girl story: We were playing at a car show at the Ky Fairgrounds years ago. There were two large young ladies dancing and smiling in front of me. At some point one of the said something. I couldn't hear and bent over and asked what thy said. One said we like your button. I said, "What?" They said, your button, pointing to one I just put on my strap. It said, "I love hogs" with a heart and a hog (swine) on it. I thanked them. They stayed put and kept dancing and I stayed away from the front of the stage. (I friend had a family member who had a hog farm and that morning gave me the button and I just stuck it on because I thought it odd.) Never wore it to a gig again.

(No offense to big girls or boys.)
That's just disturbing...

She didn't look very different from that picture. Ot maybe she was a little rounder in the abdomen. Her belly was free all night. Her breasts were free for a few minutes. She wasn't going halfway and being shy. Good for her. She was having fun.
