Krylon Dual Superbond paint + primer in black.
I have not seen any aftermarket T-Bird pickups in anything but chrome, so far.
Everything checks out with the multimeter, braids are soldered to the back of the V pot, hots run to the blend pot [sob!], ergo EYGP managed to get their wired crossed.
That's some expensive paintThunderBucker Ranch does them, an additional $25 for pickup, ring and screws. Here's one of mine.

Hell, you guys are too cheap to buy the pickups let alone the powdercoat option. That's some expensive paint
Hey guys, do Spector Legend 4x's count for the club. Just picked one up. Very easy playing and nice to be able to reach some of the higher frets easier. View attachment 941439

Better shoes, too.You have to admit, Mark has better legs![]()
Well, they are from down under and Thunderbirds have reversed bodies. It all makes perfect sense. We have quite a contingent from Australia here!![]()
But I already have a number! This is my second Thunderbird-esqe bass. The first was a TV Silver Epi that I loved but could get to some of the upper frets for a few songs the band was doing. So had to add the Legend 4x. I'm proudly still Club #570. Unless each bass gets a number. I'll brand it on the back of the headstock. (kidding, wouldn't want to cause it any pain).

None of those band names ring any bells, but that's not to say I don't know him. I graduated from East in '98, so he may have been older. Attended college in Nashville, and I didn't maintain a connection with the Lincoln scene after I left. Either way, I was happy to see a reference to Lincoln and Dietze Music.
