Thunderbird Club

After you play that version, the CCR version seems so slow and plodding. I used to do a bass solo after the guitar solo. It just happened one night, so we kept doing it.
After hearing .38 Special do it live (wow!), our band started doing it years ago.
Just grabbed this clip, may not the be best quality.

Don't know how all this got in there.............

Excellent. I'm exhausted just watching it. Nice babeage too. A great song is a great song.
I've seen them in concert maybe three times. Live they were very high energy. There are some slow songs nicely placed, but it just builds and builds and climaxes with Fortunate Son. (Yes I used that word intentionally because that accurately described them live.) When they finished it was one of those, "Holy cow, they were on fire" shows. No question, one of the best live bands I've even seen--as in top three best. A friend went with me to one of their concerts as a double date with my future wife and his girlfriend. That wasn't really his style of music (really into Adam Ant for example), but he went because it was a date and it was a concert. He couldn't believe how good they were and started buying their albums.

It better be to Sweetwater for me. I'm at the top of the SW Pelham list.

I certainly hope so, man. I officially canceled my Feb SW order yesterday (my NBD). At least one more is now available. :)

I “was” also on the top of the SW PB list, but my guy couldn’t get a commit from Gibson, so I caved and ordered from GC last week. They shipped same day.

I missed out on the 55 point inspection, and it seemed as if there was no setup attempted, but at least I got it.

Have you guys seen this?

To be honest I always like those.

Heck let's have a clip of one of those in the capable hands of Jimmy Bain rocking one with DIO

I just received a TBX tone control in the mail today. I am going to try it out in my Epi Limited Edition Candy red Bird. Long ago a couple people on here replaced the tone knob on their bolt neck Epi's with good results. Going to give it a try.
