Thunderbird Club

It’s not Thursday, so it must be NY.

Wish I could play like that young gal on IG.

Thanks! Might even get here in time for the next TT. Coming from PA.
That's great. That's not very far, so hopefully you're right. I'm sure finding decent lefties is a huge understatement.

Being a lefty myself, I'm curious how to started playing. Did you start out playing lefty because it seemed more natural or did you switch at some point?

Two unrelated things dawned on me tonight.
First, I was playing my '76 with Roto 66s and man I love how it sounds, even at home (not a big room setting). I've avoided Rotos in recent years, and for some reason just ignored them, but doggone they sound fantastic on Thunderbirds. Used to use them on my '64 and '55 Pbass years ago, but I think I'm remembering why I liked them. And I don't even go for the angry piano sound. Therefore after some string thinking I ordered another set to put on something else. For some reason I seem to have been fighting or resisting the obvious. (Not the first time in my life.)

Second, Dusty Hill's last show was here in Louisville. I knew they were in town but thought they were downtown. Ain't going down there..... But they were about 10 minutes from home. Regret not going. Such is life, and you move on.
