There was a new Burgundy NR posted on the Thunderbird FB group a week or so back that had already been set up with a tailpiece and bridge cover, it was quite sharp.

Quick question: Are there any cloverleaf-style tuners that will fit with the current Thunderbird headstock? Asking for a friend......

I don't know it's item number, they do make a set that's sized to fit a modern Thunderbird headstock, give them a call.

Not my bass.

Quick question. The Epiphone Thunderbird Classic IV, the one which has the Gibson pickups, will fit replacements for the Gibson pickups right? I know the routing is different on the Gibsons and Epiphones but if the Epi comes with Gibson pickups then it should fit like the Eric Customs Alnico Vs designed for the Gibson right?

The Classic Pro is the Epiphone model that has Gibson USA ceramic magnet pickups, it's pickup routs will accept a pickup designed for a Gibson.

While I’m waiting on my Thunderbird to come back from the shop, what strings are club members typically running on their particular basses? My shop asked if I wanted a setup and new strings put on, so I’m having them put on a set of DR Lowriders to try. Thoughts?

My Epiphone Thunderbird IV still has its stock roundwound strings, but my Classic IV Pro is wearing D'Addario ENR71 Half-wounds. My FSO has FSO brand flats on it. Haven't tried Lowriders, so clearly I need another 'Bird to put them on...

Ooooh! The Flamingo needs a refinished sister. It cannot be the '15. It cannot be the pixie dust 2001. It cannot be the VP. It cannot be the bolt on or the fretless. So, what does that mean...? Somebody around here can certainly help figure out this puzzle.

Sounds like the only practical solution to your problem is to buy two more Thunderbirds.
