Anybody know if I should grab this? The rat fur looks awful, but is that a nice amp?

I’m not sure how much hassle it is selling to the states or elsewhere , but I’ll figure it out if anyone here is interested.

Good luck - you are offering a fair price ... :bassist:

I had an Ashdown Mag300 EvoII for a couple of years. Sounded very good. Typical Ashdown coloration to your tone, a bit dark, kind of like an eden sound to my ears. Hated the form factor - very heavy (about 75 pounds IIRC) and awkward to carry (you and the amp gotta go thru doors and narrow halls sideways), there are friendlier 210 combos out there. The price is certainly good if all works as it should. Mine was built like a Peavey - made to survive a nuclear blast (kinda looks like that one has been thru one).

Didn’t check in for a few days. Now I’m a thousand posts behind :/
Slacker;)

I took the 2021 Nonreverse to rehersal yesterday, I'll be brutally honest the pickups don't cut it live, band members even commented "there's something missing ". No amount of pickup height adjustment or amp knob twiddling would solve the problem. The Epiphone Vintage Pro 760 pickups are far superior imho. I suppose I can put a Thunderbucker in it.

Maybe late to the party, but I would, no question. Those amp's weren't their top of the line, but sounded really good. I had one of the heads and wish I had kept it. Really warm sounding for SS. And you get speakers with this one!!! The Octave effect on those is great and sounds natural. The EQ is not necessarily intuitive or what you might first think. But works well once you get a feel for it.

I sold something that went to Canada a few years ago and had to fill out some extra paperwork for customs. Not really all that big a deal. I can't recall how much extra expense there was. Some, as I recall.

Interesting Scott, I really much prefer the new Gibson pickups to the Epi, I think our choices in amplification have a lot to do with this. To me the 760's lack in bass and lo mids. I you decide to let your Gibson pickups go let me know, I'd even trade you for the 760's in my Epi.

Hmmmmm that's a possibility ;)

Kinda dwarfed by the B52, but still a pretty cool (heavily armed) light bomber…

…been in this one several times but not up in the air.

I respectfully disagree that it's "pretty cool". It's one of the coolest. Maybe even THE coolest.

There's a B29 coming nearby soon (or maybe it was already here). I got excited when they said you could go up in it, until I found out it was several thousand dollars. I get, they're expensive to maintain and fly, but I don't want to go up a vintage Thunderbird's worth. Well, I do, but can't justify it.

There's a 2 seat P-51 in Kissimmee that gives(OK, sells)rides. I believe they start at $1500. Nope. That's most of a new NR.
