Sexay!

I bet it will sound even better knowing you're the one who brought it back to life.Well, the lights work, at least.... FedEx decided they didn't want to deliver today, even though it was on the truck "out for delivery", so maybe Monday I'll have my new speaker, & can check the rest

....or maybe I could run from the pre-amp out to the effects return on my Max 250? Check everything but the power amp?

Wire those pickups straight into the amp. Screw the middle person.
tried in vain yesterday to get a mim P to sound ok…..regret not having tried the Ibanez…something didn’t feel right…..musician superstition i guess……Interesting day yesterday. 2 gigs in a row at same place: private b'day party 4-7; regular patrons 7-10. Many regulars at the party so everything kinda faded away by 9:30ish. Got paid twice for one set-up. We have enuff material that we didn't repeat anything. We did get 2 strange requests. "7 Bridges Road"(Eagles 6 part acapella no way) and The Muppet Theme(Mah-Na, Mah-Na, also nope).

what bridge is that?
so far I’m not liking bridge choices, either way too cheap and crappy or way too expensive.
Come on up! Always an open invitation, and probably a good number of basses you’ve never played before. I’m sure they’d appreciate being played by someone with some skill for once.I really need to see your collection some day.
.
Before you go and lose your head check out some alternative strap placements. I’ve heard of extreme neck dives being corrected by using the neck heel strap pin only (connect both ends of your strap to the pin at the heel so it’s a loop).
We’ll, uh, thanks. But not much skill here. Lots of passion for playing though.Come on up! Always an open invitation, and probably a good number of basses you’ve never played before. I’m sure they’d appreciate being played by someone with some skill for once.

The tuner/bridge and neck are from a Kubicki Ex-Factor. Not available as an aftermarket product. I bought the '94 lined-fretless neck new from Phil (RIP) and the tuner/bridge was from a '91 FCS Kubicki- Ex-Factor. Someone removed the pu's and 9v pre so I got it for cheap and used it for parts. Kubicki as a company is still around as far as I know, (The Kubicki Factor - Facebook) but not certain if they sell parts. Back when Phil was alive you could buy a tuner/bridge for $500 - and that was the mid '90s. If one came up for sale today it would probably sell for more. Same with the medium scale Ex-Factor neck. $500 then new, I would guess it would sell for double that today.
