I’m going to message the seller. What’s the advantage of a shallower neck pitch? I know it the strings will closer to the body and the bridge height will be lower.

She sounds quite nice, and has a few love scars and honest wear, but in very good shape for a 34 year old. (Swirls and minor chips here and there) someone has spent quite some time playing her.
The tunas are the most flimsy ones I have ever seen but they seem to work well.
mostly just cleaning and setting up tonight. Truss rod works, I may need to level the frets, or remove them. E saddle is stripped but moved and stays when moved manually (this was described in the sellers description) She will need to acclimate to the southwest coming from Hawaii.
I didn’t have time to order a set of pyramid flats, so I put a set of roundworm nickel SIT strings I bought to use on my V.
She was very divey (I think basswood body, maple neck and big ole headstock) but relocating the button to the heel and no more divey at all.
I’ll open up the electronicles later, but the pots are non-scratchy, and the jack is a little loosey goosey.

It’s a good time of year for a Birthday, in the Southern Hemisphere anyhow. Weather is nice enough in Sydney then to stay outside all night drinking to the sunrise…. Yes, done that.
