There is a thing with cyclists wearing something like hose called "compression" tights, but they are opaque black. The concept is still is around in the sports-world to aid circulation while performing. I use bib-shorts that incorporate compression.

Aged Horse gave his blessing to run the Mesa TT 800 I have to be in 2 Ohm mode with a 4 Ohm cab or even an 8 Ohm cab for early breakup at lower volume if desired with no ill effects. Very useful for recording I assume.

I still find all that amp ohm stuff confusing.

I have a 50w amp that is switchable from 8 to 4 ohms,

But my 900 and 1100w amps just magically know how many ohms to use...?

the 50Watter is probably tube (really doesn’t matter what speaker ohms you use unless you want max power) and the others are SS where you can drive very low ohm loads (sub ohm in some cases)….
the reason for the confusion is the use of an output transformer in a tube amp and the lack there of in a SS amp…

Yeah the higher wattage has SS transmutillators, and tube whozerwajeebies...

It's easy............ A pair of Xuron cutters ( yay model train dork stuff!) makes very short work of the plastic, quite satisfying too!
