Shave those legs and treat yourself to something really special - Nice stockings feel SO good!

This remonds me I need to order some new 500K pots and .047 cap for this bass today.

If that were my thing, shaving my legs would not help in the slightest bit. People would still point and laugh.

Guess I don’t need to wright TB Ranch off. Just got an email from Steve at TB Ranch. Yes, he will sell them at $15 each plus shipping. As long as they are the right dimensions I’ll likely order 6 but may only use 2 or 4.
Let me know - I would like at least two, and probably more of them.

New NR mod today from
Gibson btw….

How do you get notifications for their mod shop? I tried to sign up, but never got anything except the emails about just about everything else. I can never find the mod shop on their website, either.

I kinda like that one, with the exception of the white ring around the bridge pickup. Not enough to buy it, but if it was a reverse, the wheels in my head would be turning a bit.

500k on the tone pot too? When I modded a Glarry BFHH, folks suggested 250k on the tone. Thoughts?

The thread is gone! Personally, I think the op came back under a new name.
Most forums use a software that enables the admin staff to not only ban a member, but also blacklist the IP. Occasionally they filter through, and they usually make a stink when they do

Feeding the trolls to the savages is, better or worse, typically more effective at keeping them away

so the non-reverse is the one that looks backwards....

the II has one pickup....

the IV has two pickups...

from this site: The Unique Guitar Blog: The Gibson Firebird and The Gibson Thunderbird

The original models are known as reverse Firebirds, since the body’s treble horn is longer than the bass horn. (as most guitars AKA Fender - my input) Dietrich used the Explorer as a basis, but rounded the guitars edges into a more appealing shape. McCarty (who designed the Explorer & V) was the one who hired Ray Dietrich.

The Gibson Roman numeral designation was for the whole Firebird/Thunderbird line. As you can see, II and IV are missing, which were the two basses.

I have a I and IV, and that works out because that's what I clap on anyway....

Careful doing mobil banking transactions - a major bank account hacking operation has been going on where they drain entire accounts. I know someone who this just happened to - the bank (for whatever reason-possibly the nature of the operation) didn't flag it. Welcome to the future present.

Good heads up. For this reason I never bank with my phone. There is a reason why mobile banking is so targeted by lowlifes. If I were to use it I would make sure I'm on a very secure (hidden) connection. Its one thing for someone to get your Visa, but it's a whole other pain in the behind if they get access to your bank account. With a credit card you are almost always not accountable for such abuse. It's a pain to fix, but you don't owe anything.
