Yep - CA rules for coastal beauty. Beth & Mona out hiking near the HW1 tunnel in Pacifica. The thing on top of the mountain is a WWII bunker in decay. It's all boarded up now but when I first moved here in '90 I climbed inside of it. Concrete walls 3' thick. Erosion at its base makes it look like a pedistal with a strange monument on top.

I have to start something here that won't get finished right away, more as I have time to actually do the work.
Getting home yesterday after a long day at the rockpile was a treat, I had a parcel from our own Scott @godofthunder59 - with a wonderful surprise inside!
I'll share much more when I get the chance to actually mount this to my new '64. Meantime, I just want to say publicly what a nice guy Scott is - The Real Deal.

awesome pic….your pooch looks like a fox lol….that’s the hill east (north:confused:) of 1 right? if so, didn’t know you could hike up that way..

She's our little fox! :) In the pic of the bunker, the hill behind it on the right is where Beth & Mona were. On the south end of the tunnel. If you turned the camera to the left, you'd see HW1. The beach you see (on the left) was a nude beach for many years and sometimes still is as it's a bit remote/not easy access.

Tanguito on Jones…..old school, no website or anything like that…..surprised the city allows this guys truck in such an affluent part of town…..all that said, the real article and cheap…

Chuck, where in Cali are you exactly.
I’m still working out the trip to the west for the end of June.
But things are looking bleak to make it up to headquarters.
Maybe somehow, I can at least see you, Geo and George.

Santa Cruz is about 70 miles south of SF on the coast….oh man come out! that would be so cool, like I promised you years ago, I’ll get you sitting in on one of our gigs and will bring the 68….heck I’d meet you up by Geo if easier…
