I sold that one to the Queen. It was originally black, but in the end it needed more than that to match her vibe.

That was a really good sounding bass, nice set of pickups in it, I really hated to let it go.

Wrasslin' ? Watched that when we were kids! Used to see Haystacks Calhoon on TV regularly. Then in University, we used to go to the WWF at Maple Leaf Gardens where we would cheer for 'Iron' Mike Sharpe (and got mentioned for it in TV commentary a couple of times).

I too don't understand bike racing. But I really enjoy the pursuit; the two riders start at opposite sides of the track and the race is won when one over takes the other.

I also enjoy the skiing and snowboarding pursuit; 4 racers on the course at a time. I have hopes that this format is brought to bobsledding.

Met Haystacks(and Mrs. H)after a match in Tampa in ~1963. Very nice guy.

I nearly ran into (quite literally, neither of us was watching where we were going in baggage return) Hunter Hurst Helmsley (Triple H) at YYZ. I'm 5'7". For a guy announced as 6' 2", he was maybe 2" taller than me.

On the other hand, I nearly ran into Stevie Wonder (quite literally, at least one of us wasn't looking where we were going) in a Hotel in NYC. That dude is BIG. about 6" and solid.

There was a promo many, many, mango seasons ago wherein Kristi Yamaguchi* checked Bret Hedican and knocked him on his fazaza. I suspect they had a lotta fun shooting that.

I can't recall who, but some guitar manufacturer used that body shape for a while. I can see it in my head, but can't think who did it a few years back. I like the shape.

It looks very much like the guitar St. Vincent designed for EBMM.

I assume you’re calling the guy in the video Tiger, since I’ve never been called that in my life.
And for the record, it was a great demo of the overdrive pedal, he just forgot to tell us what pedal he used.

Cricket is pretty straightforward to understand. It is just boring to watch...

The pursuit (ski cross, snowboard cross) is close.

My vision for pursuit bobsledding (bobsled cross) would be especially entertaining in the 4 man bob. In standard bobsledding, the two guys in the middle are just ballast. In bobsled cross, they could have clubs and actively beat on the other team(s).

The pressure is on now for Bruce, he really needs to get that bleeding under control and focus on executing his routine! BTW, an interesting choice of music by Tommy. I don’t think we’ve ever had another skater perform his routine to “Another One Bites the Dust”.

convinced the only reason Cricket gained traction is you can start drinking at 8:00 in the morning when matches typically start instead of waiting for pubs to open at 11:00......gotta love Blighty...

It is funny when a demo sounds like that. I could make a cigar-box bass sound like that with those settings. Aluminum has been used a long time over many decades but my fave will always be Wandrē.

The only thing I have to do with Cricket is wearing my Royal Challengers jersey when in Bangalore. I get a lot of stares and invitations to pickup games, which I politely decline; thus, saving my reputation and mystique

If I were to do a lot of riding, this would be my helmet. I want more protected than the top of my Thunderbird head.

The extreme downhill dudes & dudettes wear helmets more like the off-road motorcycle types. No face-cage though... the KASK (Italian) is what I wear. You can slide the vent down on cold days or for more aerodynamics. Very light and comfortable w/good ventilation despite not having a lot of ports/openings like many designs.

nice! we do "I want you to want me" always a crowd pleaser.....I much more prefer "Surrender" which I wish we played instead..
