awesome Irv, good luck!View attachment 4561141 @GBassNorth remember last summer when you suggested torture testing the decals? I found this sample in our freezer the other day
They don’t seem affected by temperature extremes.
My wife and I are going to set up an Etsy store in the spring, and I’ll probably also offer some truss rod covers and pickguards.
If anyone needs a custom decal for a truss rod cover or pickguard, PM me.

yes he did, don’t think Warwick (definitely not the Thumb bass) were around in 81…
I generally love Trower. I was so pi$$ed that people beat him up as a "Hendrix clone" and bummed he quit playing (or at least recording and touring).
He is great. "Victims Of The Fury" is one my favs from him and even 'though it was recorded in 1980 style- and soundwise it could have been made straight after "For Earth Below". "The Ring" is in my Trower top 10 easily.
Jimmy Dewar, what a voice. And Bill Lordan was a perfect drummer for Trower.
Here’s a picture from my youth..at a keg party.

Too funny. But thx for the vote.Month? Clearly in year category if not decade sphere...maybe more. It looks so good I feel dirty while looking, but can't stop.
LOL - IIRC there’s a running feud between Spector and Warwick because Stewart Spector worked with NS to create the Spector NS basses. Very unique in shape and design for their day. Then he turned to Hans at Warwick to help with the initial production run after which time Hans decided to copy the design and market it as his (Streamer bass). Some real bad blood between the two companies to this day. So I guess one could accurately state “the pic is either an early Spector or Warwick prototype”.?…His fretless at that time was an early Spector (or was it an early Warwick prototype).
Thx for the kind words!Nah. That's truly one of the most beautiful birds I've seen - both aesthetically and from an engineering standpoint. The pickups & wiring are what I've been planning for my old Epi IV.
Only stands to reason, I read it here on TB, just before the OP flamed out in an epic rage quit.Nah, that's a surplus Gibson they slapped an Epi badge on.
Mine is holding up wonderfully! Post the link to your Etsy shop when you get it, I have some custom artwork I might want made into a gold foil appliqué for the BilingBird.View attachment 4561141 @GBassNorth remember last summer when you suggested torture testing the decals?
