Thunderbird Club

Quite the vulgar display of power there! Very nice.
Yup, I'm definitely NOT on a jazz trio. Guys go on aboit let the PA do the work. Well, when your playing with a monster drummer, ya better have real stage volume or you won't hear yourself because 90% of soundmen are morons. Monitors? Huh???

You guys were talking about amps, running these these days into 2 ampeg 8x10s. We have roadies but I handle the heads myself and all of it if need beView attachment 968995 View attachment 968997
Very cool. It appears that you take very good care of the two heads. They look pristine, for gigging them. Sorry if this is a dumb question but is there an appreciable difference between them? I looked at the two models on the Ampeg site but couldn't pick up on what separates a Heritage from Classic series. I also couldn't help but notice that they run about 80 lbs each.

No, to me it's really no difference. The tubes are better and some other stuff, it's really just bla, bla, bla. The look is the main difference I think. I got the Heritage as a B stock for less than a new CL, otherwise, I prefer the classic look. I'd buy a classic all day.
I was using Gk 800rbs for years, killer amps, I just needed a change.

Dig that 800 RB you're selling! Just not able now, too bad, I'd have done it already!...

Yeah, they really are killer heads. I have 1 at home to play around, selling 1 and I rehearse with a 400rb into a EV 2x15. Funny, the birds are my stage basses, I usually rehearse with an old Kramer or custom P bass. I like to keep my stage gear separate.

Did someone say VULGAR DISPLAY OF POWER?

Most of the times I can only get away with one, but I run two (either two 2x5 cabs and one head, or 2 heads and two 2x15s) if I'm using effects and can get away with it.

Found this picture on Facebook today:

The pedalboard to end all pedalboards!!! :)

I bet a T-bird will sound absurdly growly through this. :)
LOL - somehow I think routing your signal through nine active distortion pedals might make the need for a poly tuner a bit unnecessary. ;)

Urgh.... That poor bird seems to have been living a rough life.... :(

I wonder what's up with the ...backwards mounted nut?
It's a Gibby thing...

...real men can play regardless of what condition their nuts in!
Actually I chalk mine up to an idiot previous owner, that and I just haven't gotten around to correcting it yet because it plays fine as is.

Turn that up just a little and I'll hear you at my house - whoa!
