There is an unlimited supply of stupid in the world...
I’ve always considered big wings on street cars as a very handy thing to have…..
….at tail gate parties.

"I have no respect for this bass or those who play it do I'll see what I can stir up." If I wanted to move the lower strap button that far, a recessed button on back would be the way to go.

Myles, he put it on the front to stop the tilt forward.
I think I’ll give him “could do better” on his mods report card.

On a lighter note...

SW had a demo Burgundy Embassy base that was missing the reflector off one of the knobs.

got a couple more bucks off that, but still not as good as my locked in price from last year, I'm still getting the green one when it comes in.

the last pictures I posted reminded me I need to trim my toenails, so I have to do that before the end of the week when my new base arrives... or not...

prolly defret the green one this time...

crap! I forgot to search on the interwebz to find out if I can slap with it....

Of course it is but is the difference a good thing or a bad thing? I like my basses to sound different or what's the point of having more than a primary and a backup?
All mine sound different with a variety of different strings and in some cases, pickups. The two that are closest to each other are my Epi Silverburst and my Pelham Blue Epi, both Limited Edition Custom Shops. The ‘15 has its own unique tones, even in full humbucker mode. And the ‘21 NR has a different tone too. I love ‘em all.

You noticed my speed secret. I was trying to keep them on the ground. Front wheel drive 90s Superturds, I mean birds, are physics defying animals.
A HS bestie's older brother blew up his Chevelle big block V8. In the interest of budget (both initial layout and ongoing expenses, since he was in college), he put a smaller V8 in. He then found that somewhere between 70 and 80MPH, he lost steering ability as the front end became airborn. This had a deleterious effect on his drive time between Atlanta and Augusta on weekends. Too bad he didn't know your trick. And him an engineering student!

I notice your spoiler was bolt-on, and it doesn't look like mahogany. Strange bird.

Good morning Thunderbird loving sisters and brothers. Just dropping in to say hello. Hoping all had a good weekend. Mine was great as I traveled to the west side to visit family and attend a concert with an old roommate. Delayed and rescheduled, but this was the second time in the last few years I saw Martin Barre and his band. Forty some years as lead guitar for Jethro Tull, and an amazing musician. Great seeing him in a small theater. Several songs from Stand Up and Benefit, extended sections from Thick as a Brick and Minstrel in the Gallery, and the entire Aqualung album, start to finish. A great show, as he and the band tore it up. If you enjoy the music of JT, especially the earlier material, I encourage you to attend if he plays nearby. Take care everyone, Have a good week.
Other than MitG (which is fine), those are most of my favorite Tull albums. Sounds like a great concert!
