TI Flats are oh so Good!!!

Amazon Seller "Guitar Tools USA" is in fact the retailer that I purchased my set from. While Amazon lists that they ship from Florida, they actually shipped from Caracas, Venezuela. I was worried that they would take forever, but was surprised when I received them in 2 days (shipped 4/5 and delivered 4/7). I'd probably purchase from them again, but don't like what I perceive to be their questionable (false) advertising.

About a year ago the FOH guy at church was giving me a hard time about using TI flats with my p bass. He said rounds were invented and took off because they're far superior. So, I bought TI rounds, which he told me was a huge improvement in tone. Well fast forward to this weekend. I changed the pickguard and put the TI flats back on my P bass. We were practicing before the service when he arrived, I yelled out that I had a new bass and his feedback was welcome. After the service, he said it was the best bass tone I'd ever sent his way. Go figure!

I’ve been playing jazz flats on my Ibanez fretless acoustic for a couple of years, I just got a G&L. Jb2 tribute and put a set on it also, haven’t broken in yet and had to back off the truss rod a bit. Plays very sweet( I would have said like butter but I didn’t want to get the frett board greasy).

I just got my first set in the mail today. I have been meaning to try them but today was finally the day. I put them on my 90’s era SR400 PJ, with Seymour Duncan QP’s as my pickups. I finally get it. They sound really really good. I really like them so far.

Have a new Ibby SR300E few weeks ago, i swap the stock string with GHS Pressurewound ML7200 on first day, sound better than stock. But after i put a set of TiJF344 on it yesterday, the bass sound become more tasty !
Tone is well balance from string to string and Ti output is higher than ML7200 too.

I have tried these on several types of basses and they are just in another league tonally. I've tried many different types of strings and they seem to just add a warmth anf thickness to any bass you play. I know some will complain about the cost but to me they are the best value on the market in terms of what they offer tonally and longevity wise. They are the smoothest string I've played with the exception of Tapes. Are there others out there that like them as good as I do?
Yep they are good strings, when I first got them I wasn't playing live much and wasn't that keen on them as they didn't have the thumpiness of some flats and seemed to have a little less low end than a lot of flats. This opinion changed recently as I have been playing live a lot more and found that with Labellas my Hofner actually has too much low end and I was having trouble getting the clarity I needed. TI's made me rethink my whole approach to my live sound and it occurred to me that a thumpy, dark tone sounds great at home but if you want to hear yourself when playing live it is probably unrealistic to expect to be able to do this with a dark thumpy tone. I also love the low tension

The other unrelated thing is that these strings just scream quality, just looking at the strings you can see that they are an impeccably crafted string
