TI Jazz Rounds are dangerous. Heed my warning.

I first tried Jazz Flats, loved them! They were great, but I like having a brighter option. Even though JF’s are considered bright, they’re not rounds. I did a lot of reading and a lot if asking and found that there was not much talk about Jazz Rounds at the time. From the little that there was, I had to really hope they would sound good. To my ear, they have similar low mid presence like the JF’s, but have a bit more snap. Exactly what I wanted.

When I read this thread title I was thinking I was going to hear a story about someone digging in too hard, breaking a string (you know, since TIs are ultra light), and causing some kind of damage and/or injury.

Just because you have a good product doesn't mean shouldn't gouge people.

To justify that price, they better be more than good -- they better be orgasmic. I'm a die-hard Thomastic Spirocore user for upright. Spiros are high-priced, but still in a reasonable range and not the most expensive by far. I just can't see spending four times the cost of most decent sets of EBG rounds, so I'll probably never even get to try them.

Funny thing is, I prefer Evah Pirazzi weich on my upright. Go figure.

I bought a few sets on Amazon over a year ago. They were $38 plus $8 shipping from the Uk. It took a week or so to get them but I’m set for years. You have to look for deals when they go for more than twice what I paid at the usual suspects.

Lot of bees walking around with prosthetic limbs after TI Jazz Rounds came out.

Rotosound 66s are my favorite round, but I've always wanted to try the TI Jazz Rounds (TI Jazz Flats are my favorite flat). But from what you are saying using TI Jazz Rounds will make my hands childlike and tender and unable to ever handle the barbed wire texture of Roto 66s ever again.

I love them, too. I think it has something to do with them being nickel instead of stainless steel. Soft and supple. My only complaint is that they're expensive, but you do get your money's worth.
