True up to an extent, sure, but where I teach, I am surrounded by students who worship their boomer grandparents and their cultural achievements, even though they feel like they've been abandoned by them in recent years. (Won't go into more detail because of tb rules). So here in the U.K. it's a weird situation where young people love what their grandparent boomers got up to in their youth, but they hate what they've become in recent years.
