No. It's about these young men who are eating those little soap filled capsules that folks put in their laundry machines. Those are Tide Pods (filled with Tide detergent)

The whole thread is rooted in people being offended by the "dad band" label. But honestly, I kinda dig some of these names. tide pod teens? I'd play a house show with them. New phone plan? Holy crap, did you hear their new "moto g" EP? Half of the guys making these band names don't even seem to have a sense of humour, they're either doing it because they either hate young kids, or they're offended about the dadrock label.
But yeah, the new generation is entitled and easily offended... Brought to you by the people that get bent out of shape when you say "happy holidays." This is the world we live in - you can do whatever the heck you want, but if somebody calls you old, you must immediately belittle those younger than you.
It's a meme that people eat tide pods. Some kids have eaten tide pods, I doubt it's very many, but the meme either came from it or it came from the meme.
