Vista was a great OS. It got a horrible rap because of the massive amount of background code and architectural overhead, but it was by no means a failure. If you do a bit of research, open up services and start cutting stuff off, you can gave a very serviceable machine. All that being said...

FTR, if I were a moderator of a forum whose membership included a large number of impressionable youngsters, I would regard it as being my responsibility to assist in their education/positive development into healthy, happy, and successful individuals who are good citizens.
Thus if someone posted that they use pirated/stolen anything, I'd challenge the poster's position to ensure that said youngsters don't get the idea it's OK - and perhaps even clever - to get into the habit of taking unethical shortcuts in life. It isn't. Prisons are filled with those who thought they could outsmart the system indefinitely...
'Success' - freedom = failure.
Learn to earn.
