So, the radio in the background while working, and up comes Dylan's "Simple Twist of Fate," and I am BLOWN AWAY by the super-sympatico bass accompaniment. Turns out to be a guy named Tony Brown, who was in the folk scene for a while. I need to listen to the entire "Blood on the Tracks" album tonight, and solicit any comments or feedback about Tony Brown.

I think he might be the same guy, I've been seeing his name in credits forever and he's a huge Nashville producer/executive now. He probably had producers ears even back then.

That appears to be a different Tony Brown - a keyboardist/producer...
