Too hard to please?

View attachment 3649462 View attachment 3649461 Thought some of you might like to see what the view from the gig looks like.. I'm subbing for the regular bassist, who is very ill right now. He's a total bass geek, like most of us. This is the rig he leaves on the boat. The BX head is the same as mine, he had an EA I-amp 800 but blew it up. Funny, I think I like this amp better. The top cab is two 8's, bottom, is a 1-12 PL cab. It sounds great. NO issues with distortion, or funny tones. This is "Mister Chicken" as I call it now- prior to the first neck reset. The knobs are Rick style now, too.View attachment 3649449

Interesting bass. Never seen a rick like that. Forgive me, as I do not know ricks, but looks odd to have pickups everywhere but the "sweet spot".
