My initial point was that you are unlikely to find a stable position in a band because of your attitude. My follow-up point was that your posts in this thread have been less than truthful. Your feigned ignorance only reinforces that point.

Actually not, I was in two separate stable positions and have started into a third.

It's my positive attitude and love of what I do that affords me this stability in bands.

All of my posts are truthful. You probably have me confused with someone else.

This thread is valuable because it reminds us:

- Honesty is the best policy
- You shouldn't lie in a forum where everything you say has been archived and is easy to search.
- Why TB has the unofficial 'no pics, it didn't happen' rule
- Trying to hold onto your lies in the face of overwhelming proof in the opposite makes you look either delusional or stupid.
- That people don't like being lied to. It's anti-social and an insult to their intelligence.
- That no matter how much you try to shovel the cr@p, there's always more being spewed out.

It was my understanding that you don't read my threads.

That's ok, we look at things differently. All of my posts are true and based on facts.

I respect your opinion because all of us really appreciate people with you're expertise.

Without fine booking agents, as musicians we would all be lost.

However, either way I have been doing this so long I will never look at myself as the new Guy under any circumstances.

You may not look at yourself as the new guy, but everyone else does. It doesn't matter how much experience you have, if you are the last one to join the band, you are the new guy.

When Ron Wood joined the stones in '74 he was the new guy. That's how it works.

Denial ain't just a river in Egypt, Blue.

gotta admit ... your threads are darn entertaining, though

Thanks, I want them to be entertaining.

Unfortunately there is always jealousy from some and they choose to pick on me which is fine.

A lot of you PM me which is great. If anything I post resonates with you on any level that's wonderful.

Do I seem like the kind of Guy that's concerned with what other people think?

My position remains with all respect.

Excuse me on this response since I'm very tired today.

You've been playing for 45 years and couldn't devise a solution to this very simple problem?

Really??

I think you might have to remained confused.

It's an age old problem but the dynamics and parameters are always different.

It will be resolved at our next rehearsal. Should be as simple as a pimple.

Regarding you not thinking you are the new guy, you can call a pig a duck but it won't quack. Last one in is the new guy. That's the very definition of the new guy and how you think of yourself won't change a thing.

Also, if you don't care what others think, why do you start all these threads?:

Would you care to outline the objects of our purported jealousy? I mean, what have you got going that we covet?

Other than the fact that some pay way to much attention to my threads and me, nothing really.

I have mentioned several times "I'm. Not That Important "

I am not saying I'm not the new guy, for many and under strict definition I am.

I am saying under my circumstance and the way I define "new guy" I'm not.
