Tool tone/FX sticky thread ver. 1

I called my rep, he was able to put the order in for me.

Also I recently got the Earthquaker Devices Park Sound Fuzz, I haven't had the chance to give it a good comparison to my Sola Sound Fuzzbender but I'm hopeful as it is a smaller footprint and more readily available.

....And I got the Danelectro 3699 Fuzz.. I will also give it a good side by side with the Foxx Tone Machine in the Fuzz wah volume.

Please let me know how that 3699 stacks up in general. That one has been on my radar since it’s release. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Low end response too

I'd be super interested in hearing your opinions on the Park. I have been considering that one for a while.

While I can’t speak about their experiences, the eqd park was the first fuzz pedal I tried and the results weren’t favorable. Big low end sucker and a harsh/trebly fuzz pushed me to go for a tonebender and forget clones altogether. I’m sure there are better clones out there but the eqd didn’t deliver

I second this. Perhaps better for guitar.

Looking forward to it! Definitely don’t need it but I WANT IT :bassist:

im in the same boat. I mean, I want it because it’s got Justin’s name on it and he helped develop it. Plus, it sounds bad a$$. But I can already make all these sounds with my existing setup. But like I said, one day, when I have the extra scratch to snag one, it would be so much fun to build a board around this thing!!

agreed… I have so much want but then of I have a weeping demon, a Dunlop bass wah mini and a duality I’m not sure I neededdd this!? Hmmm

Is this fuzz section of the wah a clone of the foxx or closer to the Tonebender ?
Dunlop says :"based on a ferocious device of vintage UK origin [...] Think Justin's monstrous tones on portions of the Tool track "Jambi.""
Based on that description I'd say the Tonebender, since that is what he uses in Jambi and Sola Sounds was/is based in the U.K.

Glad to see some video on the pedal! I'm a little disappointed that it is a forced reset if I'm being honest, I was hoping the treadle was independent and the two switches controlled the fuzz and wah respectively.

I'm sure it will still be a cool pedal though!

How do you mean (forced reset) like the wah springs back?
