Top five things other bands do that irritate you.

Sweet.I dig people with a sense of humor. :hyper:

I remember my drummer's dad pulling me aside (mind you he's like 100 years old) and was like, "Dancing around in a thong is embarrassing. You're not even in good shape to pull it off." I just looked at him and smiled. He didn't get the joke. I remember people would come to our gigs just to watch the audience's reaction to my partial nudity stunt. It was awesome, because the singer would taunt me while the guitarist and drummer would play this choppy Mexican interlude. While they would do this, I'd dance around, attempt a Karate Kid krane kick, strap my bass back on, and we'd go right back into the song.

Must go stare at belly dancer pic. Must go stare at belly dancer pic ...

LOL! :D
I remember doing this in the Hard Rock Cafe in Miami. This is not like a Hard Rock Live. Here I am, almost butt naked in the main eating area during dinner time, dancing like a tard. You'd be surprised that we would hardly ever get ripped by club owners for my behavior. After the gig ended, I would immediately get dressed. We always mailed thank you notes to booker and or club owner, so any hard feelings were forgotten.

Original bands who tell stories about every friggin' song before they play them. "This next one is called ______ and I wrote it while ______ in _______ back in 1995 blah blah blahhhhhh".

I'm okay with saying the names of songs either at the beginning or at the end of the song. "This one is called "____" or "That one was called "____", but if you're going to do a story about a song you should only do it for maximum two songs a set.

I love it when guitarists spend an hour+ setting up their elaborate floor effects rigs which inevitably contain more Boss pedals than the total number of songs they will be playing on any given evening.

Cover band singers who announce "Van Morrison, Brown Eyed Girl!" during the final bars of Van Morrison's Brown Eyed Girl.
