Shall I try to book a spot at Cherry st 2pm sat Mar 27?
Hey Fajah, are you going to ask your guitarist and drummer to sit in again? They were very welcome additions!
Hey guys,
Any particular songs you want to do this weekend? Maybe something out of Fajah's cheat book?
I'm thinking of doing something a bit different this time around as an experiment. The problem with having a live drummer and guitar player there (like we did the last time) is that they want to jam the whole time, and really don't feel like sitting around while we "talk bass". Don't get me wrong, my buddies had a great time but I got a sense that at times, they were a bit bored. So here's what I'd like to do.
I'm going to bring my guitar (like I did the last time) and loop station. I can easily lay down some tunes for us to jam to. The loop station will be the drums and guitar. I will also run my mp3 player through it where I have jam tracks that I've record with just drums and guitar.....no bass.
What do you think?
It is certainly worth a try. Exposure to new ways of doing things is always an asset.
If anyone wants to jump on the drums live, it is there. Hey Hook, maybe your son would want to come to beat on the drums for a bit.
Wow, hey all! I'm from Oshawa, and relatively new at the bass, i play in a cover band out here but I"ve never really had a chance too shoot it with other bass players and would love the opportunity, can i come too?
