The second last trip I was on in the UK, I tried to get myself down that way. I wanted to get to Penzance. Coming from Swindon, I took a wrong turn near Bristol and ended up in Wales - so I kept going!

excellent :thumbsup: my family comes from north wales a place called bangor ;) north wales is also a beautiful place .i say excellent sorry you got lost but you have seen some of our beautiful places :thumbsup:

So many beautiful places to visit! I've gone up to Edinburgh and Glasgow and down to Brighton and many points in between and east and west. Spent time in the Borders (family hails from there about 7-8 generations back). I barely feel like I'm scratching the surface. Done it all by car, would like to do some of it on motorcycle one of these days! I have no problem getting lost on two wheels or four!

As I was writing the post above, I hear a swoosh outside my open window. I have not seen this big guy for over six months. Then my wife ran out and scared him off because they crap all over the place and make a lot of noise. It is a very hot day so I am thinking the poor guy just wanted to drink some water.
