A paid professional...it'd have been a lot cheaper if I just used my damn Leatherman.

I don't know what an extraction costs in the US, but it cost me 250euro...the other option was root canal work, which'd have been over 1000.

Try putting it under your pillow & see if the current market value that the tooth fairy is now paying out might make up some of the difference
