Maybe. It certainly looks the part but it seems like ghe wrong time of year. Here's the rest of it...
I'm not sure what's going on here but i came home last night and discovered this little beauty in my garage. I don't park in there it's just the easiest point of entry. Anywho, i had an armload of stuff and when i look down at my keys to unlock the door to the house this was within a couple inches of my right foot. It didn't move so i stepped over it and got all my stuff set down then went back to see if my guest was still there, and it was. I reached to pick it up and it tried to tag me over and over so to avoid any chance of infection i grabbed a work glove to give my little hyper aggressive friend something to work out on. It took much longer than usual to calm down and even then, every few minutes it would renew its efforts to scare me off. In all i spent the better part of a half hour getting a few pics before taking my new neighbor out to the woods on the far side of the driveway to release it and it was trying to bite right up to the point i turned it loose. Unusual for a rat snake that young to be so persistently aggressive but not unheard of. Or maybe i'm just losing my touch.
