i know i've got a recording of chevy when i was invited to one of their rehearsals for their comeback tour. minidisc's don't loose there sound like the tapes so the recordings will still be crisp [well i hope so ]I've got a catalog of work on them more than 20 years old. I just played some of them for a friend who wasn't familiar with the format, and he was floored not just by the quality, but the tech itself. It's nice that digital audio moves quickly (in some ways), but MD was a good, solid format whose time was all too short.

you never know it might make a comeback lp's and tapes have over here in the uk the market is expanding

I still have my MD recorder and discs (including a box of blanks) and somewhere I have a VHS-c camcorder, too.
The MD was great for all kinds of location recording, and for CD dubs I could play to destruction at work.

I found out the friends who we share a connected side porch with have been feeding this squirrel who keeps running up and scaring the hex out of me while I'm TB'n out here >
Tossed him a piece of banana and some tater tots out of the compost bin on the porch we share, and he went away happy (too bad this last one is slightly blurry :/ He quick!)
They are sweet wee animals really. The ones in the Botanics are very tame. I had another climb my leg because I was pretending that I had food in my hand.
Here in Scotland we are slowly returning the red squirrel. The grey squirrel is an imported species!
