That is an Aloe Vera plant.
If you give it more dirt space it will make babies and soon you will have a bunch.

My brother has over 30 of them he started from one.

Despite climatic mistreatment, we’ve had the same Aloe Vera plant for around 30 years!
I used to spread it on my students’ cuts and scrapes and bruises and...headaches and tummy aches.
Worked Every Time...

Just snip off a slice. The juice is right there waiting for you.
Folks have been using it for everything...it’s especially valuable for soothing burns...since the daze of the cave man.

Also can be used "as an alternative to mouthwash", and "is a natural laxative" according to this list >

How do you get the juice?

Just snap a leaf (or whatever the kids are calling em these days), and squeeze. Great for sunburns

We took the RIB out, (Rigid Inflatable Boat) late yesterday and went about four miles offshore looking for California Gray whales migrating on their way south to Mexico for the winter. Did not see any whales but got this shot of the sun getting ready to set. As soon as the sun went below the horizon, the temperature dropped real fast and all onboard got chilled. We could not get back to the marina fast enough.

The Seattle Space Needle renovations underway amidst the South Lake Union neighborhood under construction (the new Amazon Land. SLU was a ghost town when I moved here in '07.) Not sure what the needle is supposed to look like when the rens are complete, but underneath (not my photo) shows it's traditional look since being built for the 1962's Worlds Fair here.

A construction worker I talked to the other day told me other cities across the nation like Madison Wisconsin and many others are on long waiting lists to get cranes there ... because the majority of them are currently in Seattle or Portland, OR!
