The Covinas (Covina and West Covina...as seen in the CW series Crazy Ex- Girlfriend...eastern San Gabriel Valley, California). The visible high point of The San Gabriel Mountains in the background is Mt. Wilson, where Angelenos receive their TV signal from, or at least used to in the olden days. If you zoom in, you can see the Mt. Wilson observatory.

Here is another shot of Mount Wilson. (The closer peak without snow about 1/3 over from right) Also you can see San Gabriel Valley airport just below it in the foreground. Unfortunately, the valley has some of the dirtiest air in the L.A.basin and this was an exceptionally clear day.

Oh, DO come visit us in Atlanta...:roflmao:

Keep a smile or Bang your head against the wall...Your call! :)
Maybe someday i shall! I'm already well versed in both of those coping skills :D/:banghead:

I feel that thick highway traffic at nite can be a beautiful sight (mostly if you're above it in a helicopter ), with all the slow moving red and white lights on a confined path going over and down hills ... it reminds me of lava flowing down a volcano.

Unfortunately, I don't own a damn helicopter :rage: so here's a few more street level scenes of significant time wasting >

The extra waiting at red lights did make me take notice and be able to photograph some of the holiday decorated construction cranes in the burgeoning South Lake Union neighborhood >
