Took me back as well

They took 2nd place. Four games in two days in 90+ degree heat. They were out gunned big time amd still placed well. It's 7 and 8 year olds and his team only had four 8 year olds on the roster. Those little kids were getn it done. We went for the last game. They hung in there until the last inning with boys that were average 6" taller than his team members.

They should be proud! Only 4 8 year olds on their team, they did great!

Flying over the Pacific last week I found a hole in the clouds and there just happened to be a tanker there. It immediately made me think of the Battle of Midway and how the US Navy dive bombers must have felt when they got very lucky and located the Japanese Fleet through a hole in the clouds. They went on to sink four aircraft carriers and it was a turning point in the war.
