I brought 3. gear 4 music bass's a six string electric

it had rubbish electrics very poor so I Changed the pickups vol tone pots wires everything. The neck also had a bow in it sorted it out not a bad bass now but it's a bit heavy. The second bass I got of this brand was a 5 string acoustic ovation copy

This by far the worst of the 3 does not stay in tune came with the standard bow in the neck bridge came away from the body the worst fret buzz I've known on a bass. it's good points it's light and looks good and the electrics work. The 3 one is a 4 string acoustic

This was the first one I got about 3 years ago but I haven't really played it anyway it came with the obligatory neck bow and bad electrics I could not hear the d and the g strings through the amp. So I got a better piezo pick up so that sorted the problem put a new set of strings all well tried to tune up the d string then snap snap snap went the machine head :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead: the gear inside was slipping so took a machine head of the 5 string and fitted it  took the bow out of the neck now it's seems ok :) I don't really complain about cheap guitars but 3 in one go from the same brand with big issues is really not on. I have always liked the ovation bass

so I will get one. I have an ovation guitar and that's great so I trust the brand
