A bowl I carved from a log from a neighbours tree after he took it down…
Bought a cheap cigar box guitar from Amazon. Normally about $35 but I got it for $19 using my rewards points. It says to pound in the rivets the strings go through. In doing so the piezo came loose and was causing a nasty buzz when played. Didn't sound all that good anyway. So I decided to install mini Humbucker from CB Gitty. ($16). Added
some adornment. Wow! This thing sounds incredibly beautiful. Used the top part of a bridge turned flat on its side from a hollow body Jazz guitar. Indian head nickels and old school "Early California" replica plates over the sound holes. This thing is a screaming harp.
Finally got a little frost here in Eastern NC.

Swirling, sparkling Christmas candle:
I like easy, inexpensive ways to decorate, so I simply draped this C7 light string over a painting. The bulbs are the new LED kind, and they fit in my older string. They're faithful in look and color to the old bulbs, and they don't even get warm, let alone HOT like the older incandescent bulbs.
Yeesh. From whom can I rent that house for a week? That's just gorgeous.

Several absolutely beautiful homes near Hapuna - I'm guessing the owners don't need to rent them out.... and we couldn't afford to if they did. We stay in the Waikaloa Beach area in a condo just south a few miles from where this pic was taken
