Did you get to Verona? There's another smaller Coliseum there that's used to this day for concerts and opera.
Pompeii is high on my wish-list.

My daughter decided to do a photo-collage of everyone in the family...in-laws, cousins, grandparents, etc.
I'm not sure why but basically everyone had to take a photo at the same time.

I got to see some good acts over the weekend, with our artist passes that we were lucky to get to be a part of, from playing the 2nd annual Upstream Festival in Seattle this year

Zola Jesus played a 6pm slot on Saturday at the Upstream Fest down in the SODO/stadium district. The crowd got bigger and bigger to coincide with Nicole Hummel's beautiful vocal projections and Cobra Gypsy like moves. I was moved by them as an excellent live trio >

I haven't had time to properly gig report our Sat 6/2 show yet as part of the Upstream Fest over the weekend, but Star Meets Sea did get to share the stage (along with MKB Ultra) sandwiched between TWO of Krist Novaselic's latest projects at Seattle's Central Saloon
