What's new in Gard's phone?
Well, lantana. It's considered an ornamental in a lot of places, but here in Florida, it grows wild, and at one point was actually considered an annoying weed, instead of a flower. That said, it is a gift that keeps giving, when it comes to variety of colors in the blooms - all of these are wild lantana that I have photographed in the past few weeks:
The alley next to the coffee shop where I had breakfast in the middle of my Sunday morning bike ride:
And at the risk of violating a rule or two, a couple of Caribbean Anoles working hard to keep up the lizard population at my dad's house this morning when I got back from my ride:

For almost a year, we've had a pair of wild Eurasian Collared Doves coming to our balcony.We feed them crushed saltines and some bird seeds.The yellow lid has fresh water.
Yesturday another pair showed up and it's been ongoing warfare,with the regulars defending their territory, ever since....These are from a little while ago.

I just took this photos a few minutes ago. We have a large fire break out near Saddle Back Mountain in Orange County, CA. What is unusual and somewhat rare about this fire plume is the very top of the white part of the plume has turned into a Pyrocumulus cloud. They resemble a Thunder cloud and the top of this one is well over 30,000 feet. As a crow flies, I am about 50 miles from the fire. I have only witness this once before and that was like 10 years ago. Anyway, thought I would share.

Mountains full of green trees, and no fires. Good to see.
...at an Ashville (NC) Tourists’ game this past weekend...
there was major fire a few miles southeast in near Basalt... it's bad everywhere.
I didn’t know what else to do with these...where else to put them...
