It has been a sad day for me, as I said goodbye to one of my dogs, suddenly and unexpectedly this morning. As I sat with her outside, contemplating how to proceed as I watched her struggle to move, the sky presented me with this view.

Your post regarding the cloud formation reminded me of some words that i saw 2 days ago spray painted in huge letters in the very busy southbound side of the 99 tunnel under Seattle, that read 'You are both beautiful & awful', as in we all are, & such is life.

These really aren't remarkable, unless you live in a smoke-affected area (I'm in Sacramento). Blue skies and white clouds are a rarity 'round these parts lately.

On my way to a place today and traffic was a cast iron bitoch. Got within a mile of my destination and on time, only to find this. I took this to send to those waiting on me and before i could get it on it’s way the train passed and i was on my way. I was less than a minute late so i’m taking that as a win. Sometimes it works out even when multiple oh chits seem determined to make it otherwise; even if you have to fudge it a little in your favor. 
Last nights smokey sunset made for some interestingly lit photos on the weekly Duck Dodge sailboat race >
The theme this week was Tropical Night, though i have no idea what prompted some of the decor people used on their boats or outfits. Our boat is aptly named 'the Temptress', & we always win
